CCNP TSHOOT Exam Topology
Many of you seeking to take and pass the TSHOOT exam may already be aware that the topology for the exam is posted right on Cisco's site, but I just learned about it so I have to share!
Right on Cisco's site on the TSHOOT (642-832) Practical Exam Demo & Tutorial page is a link to the TSHOOT Exam Topology.
If you are planning on taking this exam and currently studying it, be sure to get more familiar with the topology before making your first attempt. Already being familiar with the network before having to troubleshoot it is definitely going to save you some time.
Also posted on that same page is a helpful pdf that shows you what the exam environment looks like. It would behoove you to review that document prior to taking the exam as well.
If you are looking for a place to start with studying for the TSHOOT exam, here are a couple book recommendations:

Thanks for th great info... I am studying for CCNA Security at the moment, but will start CCNP R&S after that. I was planning on tackling the NP by doing the ROUTE exam first. Is this a good starting place?
Thanks

ROUTE is a great place to start after CCNA. Don't wait to start either! Pass, treat yourself to a weekend off, then get right back at it.
EIGRP Authentication
Hi,
I pass my CCNA for 2 month ago, and now I prepare for ROUTE.
I have OFG and FLG from Cisco Press and CBT Nuggets from Jeremy ...
I watch all the videos, and start to read both book ...
At some place, Jeremy said that key number in EIGRP authentication MUST MATCH, but in OCG says that don't have to match ?!
I try in GNS3 and seams that Jeremy was right!
I'm little bit confused ...
Can someone help me ?
I use this IOS:
(C2691-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(15)T6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

I took this exam recently and
I took this exam recently and found the provided topology along with practice test questions from Cisco very helpful. I also purchased the TSHOOT exam engine from Boson which I found to be an excellent preparation tool. I thought it was interesting that there were only X MCQs and that the rest of the exam consisted of X troubleshooting scenarios, each with X questions. I also noticed that the allotted time was increased which I thought was a good idea.
What I liked most about this exam (and what I hope Cisco moves to for all their exams) is that it didn't seem "brain-dumpable" so to speak. In my opinion, the less MCQs and more Sims the better.
I always find a way to screw up the MCQs anyway :)
